Post (via NI site) lost

Highlighted
For some reason, my post to comp.lang.labview
via NI can't be seen on other news servers,
such as deja news, etc. Even on NI's news
server, posts are sorted in date first, then
in thread. So posts for the same thread on
different dates may not show up on the same
place.

Who in charge for the NI web support
to comp.lang.labview? Please do something.

You're right. That makes posting via NI pretty worthless.

George,

Can you see this? I'm posting from NI's site. I can see your post on NI's
site, but went to the comp.lang.labview on Deja.com and i did not see your
original post. How did you post originally? Please respond so i know if
you got this.

Jared

I can't see your reply on Deja server.
I also checked news server provided by
Univ. of Houston, I can't see this thread
either. However, your reply is visible
at NI site. My original post was made
via NI site.

George,

Thank you for letting us know about this error. I'd like to take the time
to address the two different issues you have brought up in your e-mail.

The first, and more significant issue, relates to publishing information
out to the Deja news servers. This is something that was functional however
changes to servers, on the NI and Deja side, have resulted in improper permissions
where information from the NI servers is not being accepted by the Deja servers.
We are actively trying to contact Deja to obtain information on what changes
are necessary on both sides. For the data to be updated servers much give
permission to the others, that is why you may see that posts through the
Deja servers are seen on the ni.com site but not vice versa.

On the second issue, r
ealting to threads and dates. The server itself is
operating correctly, it is the user interface for the web page that needs
to be adjusted. We are in the process of updating this site and you should
soon see a new version that makes the process of keeping track of your questions
and answers easier.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions and would
like more details.

Best Regards,

Kamran,

Thank you very much for respond so quickly.
It's good to know that there good people
at NI whom we can count on.

One more problem, you see the original
message below? It all jamed together,
lost it's original format. Hopefully,
it can be fixed too.

Regards,

George

George,

This is the reason I'm not posting via NI HTML interface and ignoring
these "jammed" messages. My Netscape news reader gives me much more
convenience and speed, as well as sorting and selecting messages.

Just joining to your thread...
Best Regards,
