There is a pop up window with the heading nilm.exe - application error and the message reads The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). The pop up does not go away even if I click ok and it won't let me open anything else up. Please provide recommendation.

Hi,

When does the pop up window appear? Does it appear when you open LabVIEW or when you run your VI? Does it happen everytime or occasionally? Are you using any hardware with your application? If yes, what kind of hardware it is? Also, have you recently installed any national Instruments hardware/software that might be causing this pop-up?

Any other information that you could provide as to what action on your part results in the pop up window would also help in understanding the issue better.

Ankita

The pop up appears as soon as I start my computer everytime. And it won't go away. I have no hardware installed and I have not installed any new NI software on my computer.

Hey,

I think this is what you need...a KB that discusses how to stop NI License manager from loading at startup. See if this helps.
