Platform Detection

Hello

I am wondering if there is any easy way to detect (from within Labview)
what operating system the VI is being run on. I want to use a couple of
Macintosh-specific VI's (such as "Type and Creator.vi"), but i don't
want any errors to appear if the VI's are run on another platform. Can
the error codes be used in any way to detect which platform is being
used? I am using Labview 5.1.1 on Mac OS 8.6. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks
