PCIe-1477 Getting Started With EoSens CL

I have an EoSens CL camera connected to an PCIe-1477 module and would like to test the system using the PCIe-1477 Getting Started Project.

I'm able to get the VI to initialize the camera, but when I try to Acquire an image, the panel does not respond.

My settings are:

Getting Started FP.PNGGetting Started Max.PNG

example VI attached for reference.

Hello,

I have the same problem as you, are there some solutions?

I had to make a ticket both with EoSens and LabVIEW. For reference the NI Ticket was number ( 01014935 )

I'll try to summarize it here:

We needed to install their MC control tool software to adjust the tap volume to match the available options in the demo program.

Note the camera had only two options that matched the program.

The camera has tap mode options of:

2x8 2x10 4x10 8x8 8x10

While the LabVIEW example program has tap mode options:

8 bit 1x10 -1Y 8 bit 1x8 -1Y 8 bit 1x4 -1Y 10 bit 1x8 -1Y 10 bit 1x4 -1Y 12 bit 1x4 -1Y

Through experimentation we found the only two compatible options were:

8x8   matches to 8 bit 1x8 -1Y
8x10 matches to 8 bit 1x10 -1Y

The MC Control tool software can be downloaded here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/09cyct91h4qjb26/MC_ControlTool_V151_x64.zip?dl=0<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.dropbox.com/s/09cyct91h4qjb26/MC_ControlTool_V151_x64.zip?dl...>

Hi,

I'm sorry for my bad description.

I use another camera Dalsa 4M60, and I get the same situation as you when I run the example PCIe 1477 getting started, the camera can be initialized but the panel does not respond. I can not find my camera under FPGA 1477 in NIMAX.

So in conclusion, is it because their tap mode options are not matched? Does that mean I should configure my camera first? Sorry, I'm the newer with the camera, thanks for your patience.

Best regards,

Ran

Since you're having a different issue, it may be better for you to start a new thread rather than append to this one. This lets users better understand your issue is the one we're looking to solve rather than mine, but since we're here :).

I would also guess your tap modes don't match. See if your camera has standalone/ generic viewer software (it often does) and try to just get a signal. Also, a conversation with the camera manufacturer may help.
