Overlay a red area on a grayscale image

Hi,

I am trying to analyze a series of grayscale images. I am trying to detect on part of the image if the graylevel is within a specific threshold.

I do succeed in identifying it, but what I didn't succeed was to mark in red the area where the I analyzed the greylevel to be within the threshold. ( see attached example of what I am trying to do).

Hello amose,

 

unfortunately I can't open your attached .vi at the moment, because on this PC I just run Labview 2011

 

But from your description, I assume you do have an unlabeled input image and a labeled output image.

 

In this thread, Sir Ben showed how to linear interpolate two images to cause an overlay effect:
