Opening Dicom file - any useful answer?

I've read all answers regarding this question, and I haven't find useful answer yet.

The only solution was:

1. download 'dicomobject' and use the examples that they have. 

   - this works, but the license of 'dicomobject' is time limited, unless you buy them.

I guess the only problem  that I have here is I don't know how to convert DICOM image file to a 2D array in LabView.

If this is possible, then I can do whatever I want with the images.

Dose anybody have a solution for this? Please let me know.

after reading wikipedia on DICOM it seems easiest to buy a license for that "dicomobject"
