Open data storage error: "Not enough memory"

Hi everyone,

I have some large .hpf files (~450MB) that I cannot open as I get an error saying "Not enough memory"... The files contain 16 channels of data... Each channels is about 40 mins in duration sampled at 2kHz.... The program below is what I have used. This works fine for opening smaller files of the same type...

I have also tried the "Read Channel Groups.vi" from the native LabVIEW examples; but it gives the same error... Any ideas on how I can break the file into smaller, more managable chunks so that the data can be displayed and analysed?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated as I an not a tight timeline with this..

Kind regards,

Jack

You need to limit how much data you read.  Two of the inputs on the read is an index and count.  Use these to get a section of the data.
