Hi everyone,
I'm having a peculiar problem with a USB4000 spectrometer.
I am collecting spectra using Omnidriver, which seems to work well overall.
I am performing a loop over integration times and collecting several spectra. Things start well, then after a certain number of spectra (say 6) the spectrometer switches to a non-linear behavior: the 6th spectrum is mis-shaped, the low-signal tails of the spectrum are suppressed. Then at the next step linearity comes back.
This always happens at the same step in the loop. In addition:
- changing the value of the integration times does not solve anything
- I have added a second (nested) loop which enables me to take several spectra at a given integration time. If I do this, and loop over spectra at step 6, the spectrum slowly converges back to a normal shape (over 3-5 integrations).
I doubt this is a driver issue, could it be a glitch in the spectrometer itself ? Has anyone seen this ?
Thanks !

What are the integration times that are being sent? Also please include, even though it may be very simple, the vi.
