OOP inheritance problem...

Just teaching myself some OOP because I want to implement  (no pun) it on my next project. However, I can't for the life of me figure out why the attached wont call the child methods.

It looks like your attachment is missing the VIs.

Also, are you using LabVIEW 7.1 with LabVIEW Object Oriented Programming? This programming style was not introduced until LabVIEW 8.2. This information as well as a good deal more useful information on LVOOP is available in this document.
