ONLY LOW NOTES of a sound !! please help me !

HI ALL !!

I would like to try this handling with labview:
material used:
- sound card (in & out)
- mike

my small experiment:
1 _ I put a sound beside the mike, the sound is recorded
2 _ Then restored WITHOUT the ACUTE (or shrill?!) ones, I want to keep low
notes

It seems that with the transform of Fourrier i can arrive there?

if you can make this project for me + the explanation or it
formula of Fourrier it be hyper sympathetic
I try to include it

excuse my bad english...

The following webpage contains sound card VIs:

http://zone.ni.com/devzone/explprog.nsf/6c163603265406328625682a006ed37d/b50a37358204d4078625667a005179c1?OpenDocument

You could use the Sound In VI's to record the sound. Then, you can use the digital filtering VIs (in either Full or Professional versions of LabVIEW) to filter out the high frequencies.
