Numerical Indicator not Displaying of Significant Digits

In LabVIEW 2010, I have a Numerical Indicator on the Front Panel displaying a Double. I set the display format for 2 significant digits. When running it is displaying 4-6 significant digits.

What is wrong? How do I get it to display properly?

Are you confused about the difference between 'digits of precision' and 'significant digits'? I think you want the former and have select the latter.

To add to what Dennis said, "digits of precision" refers to the numer of digits after the decimal point.  "Significant digits" refers to the total amount of digits displayed, including digits before and after the decimal point, but excluding leading zeros and trailing zeroes.  If significant digits is set to less than the total amount displayed, rounding off occurs.  For example, if the numeric is 12.348, and the significant digits is set to 4, the display will show 12.35.
