Not getting alarm description or clear time from DSC

I have descriptions for all of my shared variables. However, I cannot see the descriptions nor the clear time from NI_DSC Read Alarms.vi. I can see the URL, set time and ack time. That's it. Thanks in advance.

For the description, I believe there is a little bit of confusion. The description that you are reading from this VI is actually the alarm description, not the shared variable description. You can set the alarm description in the alarming tab in the description field there. To read the shared variable description, use the Variable Property Node. As for the clear time value, this will not populate until the alarm has been cleared. Are you sure that the alarm has been cleared via the clear user defined alarm function?
