Dear All,
I am new to LabVIEW with vision, but I am starting kind of a big project in LabVIEW for object recognition and I have some problems in the beginning that I need help for.
We are using IDS UI148x-C web camera and LabVIEW 7.1. The manifacture provides labview drivers for the camera, I have tested the VIs(provided by IDS) and everything works fine. The problem is that we want to use the standart NI-IMAQ for USB VIs but in this case the implementation complains and gives the following error:
"VI NI-IMAQ_IDS_Example" was stoped at Call Library Function Node 0x140 of subVI "IMAQ USB Grab Setup.vi".
I tried to google the error but I didn't find any useful information.
Is anyone know how I can get rid of this error.
My second question is whether in case I make the NI-IMAQ USB VIs working for my camera an efficient pattern matching can be implemented without buying the VISION license.
And finally is anyone know a VI for converting 8bit array to image suitable for LV 7.1 and then if possible for writing this image to a file in the hard drive and not requiring VISION license?
Thank you very much in advance

Hi Iliya
Here I have some links for you to grab and save with an USB camera, but you need LabVIEW 8.6!

Do you have correct installed the IMAQ for USB cameras?

Without the Vision toolkit your are not able to use any functions of this toolkit, so you have do program it yourself or you use VI from other providers.
Kind regards
