Network variable can not read

I have created a network variable on the PXI and want to read the value from another PC, but it does not work. Anyone know the reason and how to solve this problem?

Hello,

thanks for your reply. "It does not work" means: when I put the network shared variable in the while loop, it does not update the data when the value in the PXI changes.

Just now I have found the reasons, because I have not choose the right option. I mark it with red colour in the attached picture
