There's lots of info out there, made somewhat confusing because
Application Builder behaves differently depending whether you have
LabVIEW 4.x, 5.0, or 5.1.

If you're starting with LabVIEW 5.1, I strongly encourage downloading
the 5.1.1 patch
(http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/8bdc88099bad95db862568730019b7e3)
and then perusing the new Application Builder Release Notes for that
version
(http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/2ef0fecd178576838625684800791151).

If you have a previous version of LabVIEW, there are also official
release notes for the Application Builder available in NI's Product
Manuals library, but you might also try the Application Builder
Troubleshooting Wizard on the NI site:

Wait guys,

I think you should wait. I just discovered a little but nasty problem about 5.1.1.
There is something wrong with run time menu. It disappears if you move the
executable from the directory where it was originally built or if you install it
using installer. So there is no way to distribute your application...
