Hello everyone, I have a problem when I am trying to follow the Labview quickstart tutorial to build a small program to save the data to a file, the error is as follows:
error1 occurred at write to measurement file.vi1-> save data.vi
possible reasons:
Labview: an input parameter is in valid. for example if the input is a path, the path might contain a character not allowed by the OS such as ? or @
Ni-488: COMMAND requires GPIB controller to be controller-in-charge
this code is quite easy, it's just generate a sine signal, use a filter to filter the noise and then save the data when you clicking a button that wired to the express VI: write to measurement file.vi
Anyone can help? appreciate a lot.
and BTW, my version is Labview 2009, 9.0 of 3
thanks !

Hi yuchen,
I get error 7 due to missing path…
Do you have write access in that folder?
Does the folder name contain any UNICODE chars?
And why did you change the ExpressVI to a reguler one?
Your error also only occurs when you try to save to your file the second time. Can you recreate your VI with the original ExpressVI?
