NI9757 – LSU 4.9 Sensor Malfunction on Both Channels
Hello all,
I’m currently working with the NI9757 module, which supports two LSU 4.9 sensors. I have both sensors connected and am attempting to read oxygen concentration from them for my experiments.
Initially, only one sensor (Channel 2) appeared to be functioning correctly — specifically, the heating voltage was present only on that channel, while Channel 1 was unresponsive despite multiple attempts to troubleshoot.
To isolate the issue, I swapped the sensor connections to check if Channel 1 or the board itself was at fault. Unfortunately, after doing this and returning the connections to their original configuration, neither of the sensors is now operational.
While investigating further, I observed that the battery voltage is now reading 0 V, and the sensor type has unexpectedly switched to LSU 4.2 in the LabVIEW interface — a setting I did not alter and which was previously configured correctly.
I’m currently at an impasse and would appreciate any guidance or suggestions to resolve this issue.
I also made sure the setting inside the Module is correctly set for LSU4.9.
