NI.XCtl.OptimizeDataUpdate

I read on the LAVA site that this setting can be used with XControls to improve data updates related to THIS problem I've had in the past.

Anyone care to enlighten me as to what this actually does?

Hi Shane,

this option makes the xcontrol not process all of the data updates if the facade cannot keep up.

If all you want is a current display it's ok, but make sure the xcontrol doesn't need to log or store data.
