NI Scope - Configuring a Stop Trigger

The following example is configured to acquire data in producer-consumer architecture and stream acquired data to disk.

20180608-NI-stream_to_disk.png

How can I change this program to work around a trigger event. I want to acquire data only between 2 trigger - start and stop (reference) trigger. And then write the acquired data to the disk. The following is a scenario.

  1. using a pulse train running at 1 Hz (1 sec time domain) from a pulse generator with trigger
    1. At this point I assume that there is a trigger pulse generated before every actual pulse
    2. spec says delay between trigger and actual pulse is 4.0ps
  2. How can I change the example to add in a reference trigger that detects the next trigger pulse and stops acquisition. So the total acquisition time = 1.0 s

Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!

The following are the references I followed to understand how to add a stop trigger but was unable to complete:

  3. Use of start and reference (stop) trigger together with niScope

Hi, can you please let me know at this moment, hat are the results that you are getting with the trigger as you have it in this moment. For example, what is the issue with the actual configuration, and what would you like to change
