NI PXIe-5450 LabVIEW FPGA not available?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi, I am using an NI PXIe-5450 card inside an NI PXIe-1082 Chassis (using MXI Express X8 Link via NI PXIe-8381 for communication with the host). The 5450 card shows just fine in NI Max and I've been successful programming it using LabVIEW. I wanted to write to it as an FPGA, using LabVIEW FPGA, but when I want to add it as a target to my computer or the project itself it is not accessible. Is it not possible to communicate to this target or am I missing something?

Not all cards have a user (us) accessible FPGA.  The 5450 seems to be one of them.  I checked https://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/372565c.pdf for FPGA and usually if the FPGA is user accessible it would be mentioned here.
