I am trying to use the NI OPC Server (Driver: OPC DA Client) to connect to an OPC Server (OPC DA 1.0) in a machine, but not success. The tags in Quick Client always show BAD quality and the value is Unknown.
However, when I use Kepware OPC Server (Driver: OPC DA Client) (in the same computer of NI OPC Server) to connect to that machine. The tags in Kepware Quick Client shows Good quality and the value comes out. So, DCOM setting is not an issue.
As Kepware OPC Server and NI OPC Server actually looks alike, Kepware just have more settings (e.g. synchronize read, NI OPC server cannot set synchronize read). I feel that NI OPC Server (Driver: OPC DA Client) can do the same job. So, Could anyone give me some advice?
