NI OPC SERVER connect to RSLogix 500 Emulate

Is it possible to connect NI OPC Server to RSLogix 500 Emulate? For example to a ML1400 running in RSlogix 500 Emulate?

Or maybe to RSlogix 5000 Emulate?

How can I do that?

Hi Satte

There is no official support from NI OPC Server to Emulated devices. This means that it can or it cannot work but we cannot guarantee it. This is because, there is no much information about how RSLogix 500 Emulate works and we are not certain if they emulate every functionality of the real PLC. If they do, then it would not be a problem since NI OPC Server would detect it as if the PLC was connected to the computer.
