You could apparently rename a device to something that has space " " in it but not anymore.
I have old test stations to maintain, with executable compiled software running on them, so basically I cannot change any code, and the device name used in these is "DAQmx 1", "DAQmx 2", but now if you have any new PCIe device, you cannot name them that because you cannot have space in the name anymore.
I really have no way of doing this but to change the device name to "DAQmx 1" from "Dev1"
Why would labview remove such back compatibility? And there is a workaround to change the name by bypassing NI MAX?
