NI-DCPower Express has no dialog box for settings

Solved!
Go to solution

I wanted to use this VI to set up the voltages on a PXI-4110 power supply module, but every time I add it to the block diagram there is a status bar that says "Initializing" then nothing happens when it is complete. I thought a dialog box would pop up where I can make changes. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!

Could you please post which version of LabVIEW and the NI-DCPower Driver you have installed? You should be able to find this information in NI-MAX.

It looks like this issue been documented with NI-DCPower version 18.1 and has been corrected in 18.1.1 and 18.2. Both are still compatible with LabVIEW 2017 SP1 and the PXI-4110 so I would recommend updating the driver! You can download it here:

Hope this helps.
