NI DAQ 6343 with LM35

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

Im trying out LM35 with DAQ 6343.

But the output of LM35 is constantly 0.5V, which is about 50degC based on datasheet.

This is not in relative to our room temperature which is at 26degC..

Even when I introduce heat near the sensor, the output still 0.5V.

I have 2 of the sensor & all have the same result.

Anyone can assist me?

Thanks..

Sounds to me, you need to make sure that your setup is correct. You don't need a DAQ to measure voltage. A handheld dmm would do.

hi, i'm using lm35 for temperature sensor and my data acquistion using NI MyRio 1900. i got problem like you , normal temperature is correct showing 25 but when given a hot temperature, the temperature should rise but the temperature actually drops below 25. Here is my program.
