NI CAN sbRIO-9628

Hi ,

@GerdW

sbRIO9628 does not support NI embadedCAN. and it support NI Xnet .

I'd like to know how to send a frame to another device via the sbRIO's CAN port.

I've included the software I downloaded for sbRIO below, and I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on my suggestion.

Thank you.

Hi Emna,

Is there a reason you explicitely mention my alias? (I just found this by chance, I don't get any notifications when someone writes my alias in his/her message…)

As can be seen in this image you already can send a dataframe using the IO node in the FPGA.

What else do you need?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi ,

Thank you for your response.

I mention your alias because I found a related subject where the solution is delivered under your name.

I just want to know if my suggestion is correct ? and if sbRIO9628 support I/O node in the FPGA.

and is there any NI training about using CAN with sbRIO ???

Best Regards.

In this case it would have been nice to provide a link to that solution…

I don't think there is a special "training" for "CAN on sbRIO". Check the examples coming with LabVIEW/RIO for using "CAN on FPGA"…

GerdW
