NI 9944 remote sensing

I would like to configure a 1/4 bridge strain measurement with NI 9944 and NI 9237 module. I noticed that on the bridge site of NI 9944 is not a pin for remote sensing. Does it mean that RS is not supported with 1/4 bridge configuration with NI 9944? How can I compensate for  the voltage drop of lead wires when using 1/4 bridge?

Hi Antonin_Stastny,

Endeed 9944 doesn't offer directly remote sensing.

The sollution I see in your case, is to use 9949 wich will give you acces to RS+ and RS-

At the following link it is described how to connect a quarted-bridge configuration to 9237 using 9949, for that you will have to add an external resistior to create Half- Bridge.
