Is it possible to isolate ground btw channels in 9226?
Alternately, is it possible to read just one of 8 RTDs connected to the card at any given time?
Thanks

Hi Andrei,

Read the datasheet: page 4, first sentence.
is it possible to read just one of 8 RTDs connected to the card at any given time?
Yes. (With some overhead.)
I guess it would be better to read all 8 channels at once and pick just the value you need…

thanks. we have cross-talk in the way the harness got wired. breaking the common ground ( i did read the manual bfr posting ) seemed like a 1st possible solution. can you say a bit more about the one-at-a-time solution?
also, does NI sell adapters btw cards? i believe NI has isolated channel RTD cards as well. i

Hi Andrei,

Have a loop, which reads all RTD channels and stores the current data in a FGV.
Your other loops can access the FGV and request the current data for the desired channels…
