Missing vi from Vision and Motion palette

Hi everyone,

I have an odd question regarding Vision and Motion palette. I'm using 2017 64bit LabVIEW version and for image processing I have installed Vision development module 2019. However I'm still missing several functions from Vision Utilities tab like "IMAQ resample", or "IMAQ symmetry". Everything is licensed and activated. Has anyone faced such an issue before?

Also, I thought that maybe installing Vision Acquisition software would help, but after installing the whole Vision and Motion palette became empty.

Any ideas?

There are two sets of Vision (hardware) VI.  NI IMAQ is for certain vision acquisition devices that come from NI.  Cameras made by other manufacturers and that conform to the GenICam set of camera features and attributes use NI IMAQdx as their routines to actually access the camera functions.

What sort of camera are you using?  For example, the Web Cam that comes with most laptops use IMAQdx.  In the dozen years that I have (occasionally) used NI Vision, I have never use NI IMAQ, only IMAQdx.
