Microsoft Access Security and Labview

I cannot setup the security of the Microsoft Access database and successfully connect using the UDL link.  The only user name that will connect successfully is admin.  In the example I have attached I created a user Paul that has the same access level as the admin but it still does not work.

Do I make this work?

I've successfully avoided any contact with Access for the last several years but I thought the security information was stored in the mdw file. All I see in your zip file is the database mdb file.

I tried it 2 ways once with just setting the access level within the table and one with using the wizard which creates the .mdw file.  All of which I have been unsuccessful.

What is your choice of database?  I would like to say with a database only for the ease of analysis.

I have attached the extra files.  Admin is the main user that works but any other user I add does not.  All passwords are blank for ease of debugging.

Sorry, I can't check the Access setup. I don't have it installed anymore. I've been using SQL Server because that is the only database my IT department will support.

There are a number of good databases - none of which come from MS (Dennis, you have my sympathy). A good open source database is Firebird. In addition, Oracle has released OracleXE (Oracle Express Edition) for small applications. It is free (in the economic sense), fully compatable with all their development tools and is built on the same codebase that Oracle Enterprise is built on. The only real limitation to it is that the data can't be more than 4G total - and there may be ways around that. I plan on using it a lot.
