Merge Signals VI does not work on PDA

Hello,

    When a 'Merge Signals VI' is used in a VI for LabVIEW PDA, when building the VI (with LabVIEW PDA project), a message 'Unsupported prim - "   ' comes up but the PDA application gets built. BUT when this LabVIEW PDA application is run on the Windows Mobile PDA, an error comes up "App failed. Error code 230605003. Unable to lock memory chunk". A sample VI which has the problem is attached.

    Have anyone faced this problem before? If yes, what was the solution? Can any LabVIEW expert suggest a solution to achieve the same goal as required in the attached VI?

Note: Version of LabVIEW that we are using: LabVIEW 8.5 Professional Development System for Windows Vista/XP/2000 and LabVIEW 8.5 PDA Module for Windows Mobile.

Here is an interesting KB Article http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/C329B411F439C6C686256E4D00735168?OpenDocument. If the "merge signals.vi" is not supported for PDA you can bundle your signals and show it on a "normal" Chart. See the picture.

I hope this can be a solution for you.

Hello Mike,

    Thanks for ur suggestion. With a sample VI, i saw that bundling the signals to plot them on the same Waveform chart worked on the PDA, thank u! Now i'll have to do more testing in the final app...

    Can i request u to look into another of my posts with subject "General Error Handler VI not supported in PDA Module" & suggest me a solution? 🙂
