Menu item "Help for this VI" is grayed out when VI is build into an executable

Hi,

When I run a VI, and select the Help menu item "Help for this VI" it opens my help file (MyHelp.chm).

But when I build an executable from this VI the menu item is grayed out!

Is this normal behaviour??

did you include in .chm file in your installer? Is it in the correct location?

Yes I included the helpfile, and it is at the same location as the executable.

Problem solved.

I made a new project file with my current LV8.6 and the menu item "Help for this VI" is working now.

The project-file I was using was made with LV7.0 and probably causes this problem.
