Medibus Protocol VISA help wanted!!

Can you tell me more about what you are trying to do exactly?  Are you trying to measure data from the Draeger equipment? If so, what equipment specifically?

Are you using VISA to communicate with the hardware?

Hello,

I'm trying to get measured data such as flow and pressure out of a draeger ventilator Evita V300. Currently I've been just trying to use realterm with RS232 to get some form of communication going and once that is set will probably use VISA. Unfortunately, I am a student working on a project so I can not purchase NI equipment until I can show some proof that I can get data out.

You've got all of the hardware that you need. What you have to get is the manual that explains the communication protocol. Have you tried to contact the vendor?
