Measuring low current on myDAQ

The NI ELVISmx digital multimeter used with myDAQ only displays currents in the low milliamp range. Is there any way to measure lower currents (micoamp range)?

Thanks!

You could use something like a hall-effect current sensor to sense the current and measure the output of the sensor with the DAQ.
That's just one idea...

Thanks for the idea, I guess I was wondering what the range and resolution of the built-in dmm is on the myDAQ, given that a $20 handheld dmm measures in the microamp range.  If the myDAQ can handle this precision, what software changes (i.e. in labview) need to be made to display it?

I will guess so. You should study how current measurement is done.

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
