Measurement & Automation cannot find Aglient GPIB cable?

Dear Sir,

I'm using the instrument equipment "HP8921A" and the "Aglient GPIB" cable connects between PC and HP8921A.

When I execute the "Measurement & Automation", it cannot find the instrument.

Doesn't the LabVIEW (or Measurement & Automation) support the agliment GPIB cable?

If I want to use LabVIEW to control the instrument equipment, but use agliment GPIB cable, how should I do?

It's not a cable, it's a GPIB controller and by default, MAX will not recognize it. MAX is, of course, a National Instruments utility program for their hardware. With just a little more effort though, you can get it to be recognized. The main step is to enable tulip support in MAX. There have been numerous poss on this subject. Why don't you do a search for the Agilent part number or 'Agilent GPIB'? Be sure to get the part number and spelling correct. You misspelled Agilent two different ways and both are wrong.
