Loopback Test on cRIO 9045 using its Built in Serial RS-485 Port.

Hello All,

I am performing loopback test for RS-485 built-in port of cRIO 9045 in NI-MAX using VISA Test Panel.

 After Query command getting Timeout Error. Please check Screenshot Capture0.

 Serial Port Configuration is as follows shown in Capture1

 

My goal is to perform serial communication using built in 485 port of cRIO 9045 in RT code. 

Loopback connections are done as suggested by NI,

At DB-9 Pin connector.

Cable used for test is RJ 50 Part number 184428_01

That link shows three different wiring schemas. You are using the RS-422/485 (4 Wire) one?

yes using 485 4 wire connection.
