Location of controls and indicators on pallettes

Is it possible to know the locations of control and indicator on the pallettes from a pre-designed vi?

What "pre-designed VI" are you talking about?

How does that have anything to do with the palettes?

If you are asking "Given a control on the front panel of an existing VI, how do I find the palette it was originally found in?"

Then, no there is no direct way.

If the controls have been customized then there is no palette.
