Lincoln NE integrator

Looking for contact information for support in Lincoln Nebraska.  I need to have an existing application migrated from Win7 32b to Win10 64b OS.

Have you tried it yet?  It might just, you know, work.

When we did a bulk in-place so-called "upgrade" from Win 7 to 10 a few years back, almost all the old executables kept working.  (Though several systems needed  a reinstall of serial and VISA drivers.)

All apps were 32-bit LABVIEW executables, most OS'es were 64-bit Windows both before and after.

Kevin P … The application was created years ago for one of our lab testers.  I have no experience with it so I was hoping to find a local expert to assist with the migration.  As you stated, it might be as simple as reinstalling the application on new OS.  However, I don't even know what VISA drivers are.  I would prefer to contract with someone who knows what they are doing vs plowing through it myself.

I applaud your foresight.  Most of the posts here are from people more willing to spend time than money, so I steer my responses accordingly.  However, considering you don't know what VISA drivers are (for example), there's a fair chance that there are other important details about the test system that need a more thorough assessment than my quick, "Hey, give it a try, who knows?"

National Instruments has an "Alliance Network" of consultants and integrators that they've vetted.  The ones I've dealt with have been excellent, and I would expect good things out of anyone who made the list.  Here's a link, you'll find one right there in your area...
