Hello All!
I have problem with saving for previous version 8.5 to 6.0.
As I know, usually it is possible to make a step back to previous version only.
It means for convertion from 8.5 to 6.0 I should make the following chain :
8.5 to 8.0
8.0 to 7.1
7.1 to 7.0
7.0 to 6.1
6.1 to 6.0
Could anyone suggest some better way please?

Hi Rustan,
the way you posted is correct, the other solution is to write your code again in LV6.0.

My method is correct theoretically, but in practice I need to have all of these versions installed on my PC.
It makes practical application of this method little bit difficult.
I thought maybe somewhere there is some tool for such conversion.....
Thanks for reply!

Hi Rustan,
if you have only some vi´s, you can post them and the forum community will help you.

No, thanks, I have a few old PCs with 6.0 so it tends to be a regular work.
Strange that nobody asked this question before.

Thanks,
I also heard some rumors about such tool, but never seen it in a real life.
Well, I have already requested NI, so I expect they will answer me soon.

Well, I also have a lot of doubts.
Otherwise there would be no stimulus to upgrade to new version.
