Labview on Debian GNU/Linux

Hello,

I am used to Labview under Windows95 and MacOS. Now I am
working under Linux (Debian GNU/Linux). I would like to
buy Labview for this OS. Of course, there are no demo
version available. Did anybody used Labview under Linux?
Everything ran fine? How was the installation?

Thank you very much.

The LabVIEW Linux demo version is available. In order to install it on debian, you will need "alien". With this, you will be able to convert .rpm files into .deb files. After, you will install the .deb file with dpkg. Warning, the LabVIEW 6.0.2 update have to force overwrite files owned by other packages (LabVIEW 6i).
The library libLVMesaGL.so.3 isn't linked correctly in path understood by ld. You will have to create a soft link to it in /lib.
If you have any other questions on linux and LabVIEW, ask me and I will help you if I can.
