I've got an X-Y graph with time as the x axis. If I continually zoom in on the x-axis, I eventually get markers all displaying the same value along the x-axis, because the format for the markers is fixed as either a number of decimal places or a number of significant figures. Is there a way of forcing Labview to automatically adapt the marker formatting as the user zooms in to avoid this? It would seem fairly obvious that if the user has zoomed in such that the x-axis max and min are e.g. 0.01ms, the markers should be formatted to more than one decimal place... a graph showing 10 values all the same along the x-axis isn't really showing anything useful at all.
