Haha, these guys do their very best to disqualify for any position ...
I knew someone that would take in a stack of resumes for a position to be a LabVIEW developer, and would throw away everyone that didn't spell LabVIEW properly. I thought it was a little unfair to throw away a resume that may be perfect, but his thought was if you can't spell LabVIEW properly then you won't be up to his standards.

Hooovahh I tell you something,
the resume you submit to a potential employer is your forst work sample. So sloppy spelling will be taken as a strong indication for a sloppy work attitude. If I am to decide it is indeed a killer.
And we aren't supposed to be sloppy just because we submit things on the web nowadays.
But even more striking is that the guys didn't notice that the thread is more than 10 years old ...
Cheers to reading and to spelling,
Edgar

I agree but technically spelling LabVIEW wasn't the problem, it is the capitialization of it. For example if the resume said "Certified Labview Architect" the resume would be thrown out.
And yes a 10 year old thread in the wrong forum, suddenly getting posts is quite funny, but it seems to happen all the time around here.
