Labview Pro 2020 and Parallel Desktop for Mac

I am actually running Labview 2020 Professional on MacOS Catalina. I just found out that several things e.g. Timed Loops available on the Windows version do not exist on the Mac version.

I am planning to install the Labview 2020 Professional for Windows using Parallel Desktop for Mac (with Windows 10)

Is it working as well as on a PC ? Any troubles that I should expect ? Is it recommended ?

All advices are highly appreciated

Thanks

I'm thinking that any advantage using timed loops would be lost by running a virtual machine.  Besides, unless you're running a real time OS, there really isn't an advantage.

On top of what Bilko said running LabVIEW in a virtual machine can be problematic as things like VISA that access hardware can have issues.

The timed loop only exists under Windows since it was required to let the user edit RT VIs, which so far only can happen under LabVIEW for Windows versions. It has no real-time capabilities but simply is pretty much equivalent to a for loop with software timer. So going through the troubles of Virtual machines just for this is like accepting heartache for a placebo candy.
