Labview PDA, What component does my Windows CE OS needs to run labview PDA

Since Pocket PC OS is a custom version of Windows CE, does Labview PDA run on a basic Windows CE OS. If not, what are the components that need to be added to the OS. We do not plan and do not want to install Pocket Pc on our devices. Like most hand-held device developers we will use Microsoft Platform Builder to create our own OS image based on Windows CE.

In the LabVIEW PDA release notes it says that you are required to have Pocket PC 2002, so I assume it will not run on older versions of the OS. I am not sure if it is possible to add some additional components and have everything run. Maybe others out there have tried running on platforms other than Pocket PC 2002.

Windows CE is not an older version of Pocket Pc. Pocket PC OS is a custom version of Windows CE 3.0 developed by Microsoft. Were actually planning on using Windows CE .NET (4.0) which has advance features that Pocket Pc does not have. CE .NET will probably be the building block for the next Pocket PC OS.
