Labview Interfacing of SR830 with RS232

Hi,

I am trying to make the Labview interfacing of my SR830 lock-in amplifier with RS232 serial connection. SR830 had previous setting with GPIB and now I am not able to set it for RS232. It seems the right knob is remotely locked (although "LOCAL LOut" signal is not displayed). can anyone help me to set the device to RS232 communication.

there are surely manuals for your amplifier available. Did you read them to find the answer to your question?

Yes, I tried to perform the SETUP of the device according to the manual. But neither the Local key nor the Knob is responding. But the SR830 is initializing after passing tests after switching on...

Finding no clue..
