Hello,
I have a llb written in 5.1 and I am trying to convert it to 2010, although
Labview 2010 says the version is too old to convert.
How do I go about converting the library?
I have attached the Library for your reference.
Thank you for any help,
Regards,
Russell

Jason,
How did you convert the 5.1 code to Labview 2010. I tried dowloading the 6.0, 7.1, 8.2 versions. But it does not create the labview.exe file.
Best Regards,
Leo

Your question does not make much sense. I don't know what you mean by "it does not create the LabVIEW.exe file".
When you download one of those intermediate versions, you need to install that LabVIEW version. Then when you open the old LV 5.1 .vi in one of those versions and resave it, that .vi file can then be opened in later, more recent LabVIEW versions.

Hi Raven Fan,
Good team!
I downloaded the LVRunTimeEng for version 6.1 for example. When I run this application, it produces a directory C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\6.1 with many files but does not produce a labview.exe file for 6.1. The same is true for the 8.2
Thanks

It is sad that the users have to post their software on a board to get it upgraded or downgraded. NI should have a conversion program or service to do it for you.
