I'd like to connect Labview to Instron machine to measure strain. How am I supposed to connect strain guages to SCXI 1200 and SCXI 1322 terminal block??? Do I have to buy another data aquasition module to do it???

I'm trying to remember how those things work. IIRC, the resistance changes with strain changes. Perhaps you could use a current signal with a constant voltage supply that would result in the current changing with the resistance changes? Of course, you would have to do some calibration work.
As I recall, the 1322 is a strain gage and pressure transducer front end for the SCXI unit. It supplies excitation and has a potentiometer balance the circuit and null lead loss,etc. There should be a scxi module that the 1322 connects to. then the scxi box is connected to the 1200 card by a cable. Did you try calling NI?

The SCXI-1322 is a terminal block that is used to connect signals to an SCXI-1122. An SCXI-1122 is intended for use with transducers that need either voltage or current excitation such as a strain gauge or RTD. The SCXI-1200 is simply a digitizer and does not provide excitation. Also, the SCXI-1200 will not interface with an SCXI-1322.
