LabView RT & SCXI ??

Hi all.

Saw LabView Realtime with the processor/daq card for the first time and at
the "Embedded System Show" in London. I was impressed as I tried optimising
a complex control loop a few years ago but had problems with the loop not
executing fast or stable enough in the windows environment.

I asked the NI person in the booth if it was possible to use a SCXI as a
frontend if my signals needed conditioning. He was not sure about that and I
haven´t got an anser from anyone else.

Therefore it would be nice if anyone in this group would like to answer my
question and perhaps even somebody has some experience with the two products
firsthand...

Short answer is yes. LabVIEW Real Time running on an RT Series DAQ card and
on a PXI controller, both support the use of SCXI.
