Hi Ahmed,

Do you have any estimate on the timeframe for the announcement on the finalized corrected pricing?

Best regards,

Victor

I've now submitted an RFQ twice.  I received an inquiry email for the first RFQ, but all further emails sent to this contact went unanswered.  This was back in mid-June.  Since I received no follow-up after multiple attempts, I decided to submit another RFQ on the NI website.  This request was handed off to a distributor, who wrote back in an email stating that renewals must go through NI.  Now, I'm just getting the run-around from NI.

Heads up! NI has moved LabVIEW to a mandatory SaaS subscription policy, along with a big price increase. Make your voice heard.

I understand your point and agree that it seems like a 100% increase compared to 2021 prices, which was not in the best interest of our customers. I'll run this promotion for as long as it's needed, until we course correct our prices and packages. We have made mistakes in the last couple of years and we're in a course-correction year. Our goal is to regain your trust through actions, not just words.

So we are now in a period to re-capture "old customers" by ommitting late fees.  When that is over prices will be lowered to keep the other group of "current customers" happy.  What about current customers who's SSP's are running out before prices are lowered?

Our 3-year "perpetual" SSP's just ran out.  The only offer we got was for the full "25% of current new price" for 1 year, or 3 times that for 3 years.

We already had been taking steps to move away from Labview, way before you publicly announced this SSP type/pricing course reversal.  Also, we have all versions of Labview (including 2024Q3) running on VM's.

I pointed this out, and even suggested a 3-year renewal (like we had), which would ensure a longer two-way commitment, allowing for (extra) discounts.  [both I could use to persuade my department to stick with Labview]  All of this was ignored.

Where does this change our current decision to move away from using Labview?
