LabVIEW 'steals' keystrokes from ActiveX control?

Folks - I have a very nice ActiveX Grid control for a 'smart' table. Only problem is that LabVIEW seems to 'steal' keyboard ENTER's and TAB's from the control, processing these keystrokes as it usually does. But my control needs ENTER and TAB for itself to behave properly.

Any ideas about how to prevent LV from 'grabbing' the 'magic' keystrokes ENTER & TAB?

Try unchecking Tools>>Options>>Front Panel>>Override system default function key settings. Otherwise, you might have to programmatically make sure that the ActiveX control has key focus.
